Hike and Fly in Alberta

It’s an activity that grows in popularity every year! Whether you have ultralight X-Alps style gear or enough gumption to carry your 50lb pack up a mountain, you’ll find that Alberta has much to offer for the aspiring hike-and-flyer. New sites have been trailblazed in recent years, and with potential future access to provincial and federal parks (fingers crossed!) there are sure to be many more.

The most commonly flown sites are Prairie Mountain, Mesa Butte, and Canmore.
